We have a new team member on board! We’re excited to introduce our new Fund Development Specialist, John Hanley.

John is passionate about working with non-profits. He has worked with, volunteered for, and supported the non-profit sector for decades in roles involving communications, music, volunteer management, board governance, stakeholder relations, and now fund development.

John holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and has a deep passion for staying current on public policy and governance issues. He is also an avid CFL fan and loves attending Stingers basketball and Riverhawks baseball games. He has been happily married to his wife, Mikaela, for 24 years, and together they have a twelve-year-old daughter, Isabel.

  Morning person, but not before 6:30am

  It's a great fit! I am passionate about non-profits. And making music is like breathing. I can't live without it!

• Who is your favourite musician?

  Definite toss up between Paul McCartney, one of the most underrated bass players ever, and Brian Wilson, the musical mastermind.
