Dear Friends and supporters of Pro Coro Canada What a fantastic concert we had on Sunday evening here in Edmonton!! It certainly was one for the books: performing with 29 singers for the first time after 15 months, in front of 6 cameras and live streamed globally, and in a sweltering 30 degrees celsius! Performing Talbot’s Path of Miracles in itself is not an easy feat, but doing so under the conditions we found ourselves in on Sunday, was a tour de force. Most of our performers and staff were drenched in sweat before we even began with the concert. And what a concert it was. I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we did. It was such a privilege to work with that many singers in person after all these restrictions on gathering. The sound was marvellous and the power of these voices combined created the most exhilarating experience. It might not surprise you, but after all was done and the last note faded into the summer evening, the choir cheered (which did not appear on the livestream)! We hope that by the Fall, the cheering will be done by you, dear audience members, when you can join us again in person. Meanwhile, I’m happy to direct your attention to the ‘Save the Date’ information below where you can find the concert dates for the 2021-2022 season. More on that very soon! Over the next weeks, we will introduce the Pro Coro Team to you.
