Choral Classics brings you beloved tunes from Fauré, Rheinberger and Brahms, while New Choral Music showcases compositions of the 21st century. There is plenty of music by Canadian composers, and you can even find all the Edmontonians featured in our concerts. Our first rehearsal of the season kicked off two weeks ago with fresh sounds and stories. We will be featuring the works of Edmonton-based sound artist Noel Fanaeian on a new album.

Several tracks focus on deep familial relationships, such as a mother’s final lullaby and a father’s journey from defensiveness to love. Other songs explore societal themes, including financial uncertainty, technological influence, and a collective apology to the Earth.
