Annually, Choir Alberta pays tribute to individuals who make substantial contributions to Alberta's choral community through the Choir Alberta Awards of Distinction.

We are delighted to announce that two distinguished members of Pro Coro Canada have been honored with Awards of Distinction.

This award is bestowed upon individuals with an extensive history of excellence, who have significantly impacted choral music in Alberta. Recipients are selected by a Board-appointed committee from a list of candidates nominated by Choir Alberta members.

Madge's steadfast commitment to uplifting the choral community serves as an inspiration to us all. Congratulations, Madge!

The Con Spirito Award is a testament to the unwavering spirit and commitment of individuals in their local community towards choral music. Each year, a select number of these awards are presented upon individuals chosen by a committee appointed by the Choir Alberta Board, based on nominations from Choir Alberta members. Nominations may be made on the basis of any significant contribution to choral music in any community.
