EAR #25 Dear choral colleagues, Pro Coro Canada is back at rehearsals with the full choir in our ‘old’ venue. What a privilege to gather for the purpose of Art during these times. Joining us yesterday for the first time was our Emerging Artist Jessie Pierpont. Jessie arrived in the afternoon and had only a some hours to acclimatize before standing in front of Pro Coro, rehearsing the Mass by Praulins. With our schedule - the process of introduction, hearing the ensemble for the first time and then being challenged by me to work on specific issues - it was very time-condensed. Jessie had only about 20 minutes to get used to the sound before we started with instructions. The choir was impressed by her flexibility, awareness and capacity to take in many new impulses.
