November 30, 2021 Dear Friends and Supporters of Pro Coro Canada, I am still coming off a high from Sunday’s concert! It was an eclectic, creative and inspiring event. We performed six world premieres by Canadian composers, all written for Pro Coro Canada as part of the PIVOT program of the Canadian League of Composers. The setting at the Westbury Theatre here in Edmonton added to the experience and provided a convincing atmosphere for these new sounds. Thank you for joining us in person or online, and I highly recommend heading to tv.procoro.ca to watch the concert. Today is #GivingTuesday, and I would like to direct your attention to this annual, national event where individuals and corporations support charities and not-for-profits of their choice. Of course I hope that Pro Coro Canada is on your list as the performing arts organization to support during these trying times. In three weeks, our four singers will perform the annual Little Match Girl Passion at All Saints’ Cathedral. Join us for a one-hour musical meditation during December.
