September 29, 2021 Dear Friends and Supporters of Pro Coro Canada, What an exciting concert we had on Saturday!! The first one since March 2020 with a live audience. What a joy it was to feel their presence, engagement, and appreciation!! We have presented concerts for decades, but of course, never under these circumstances. There are many new measures and procedures we are implementing, and this first concert provided a great opportunity to try them out on a small scale. Here are some contributions from audience members regarding our concert: As a Board member I worked with the concert team to ensure all of the protocols for audience attendance were sound and met best practices. I am not only a Board member but also an eager patron, so wearing both hats, I can attest to the superb planning and execution of all of the things that made Saturday’s concert a safe and special evening.
(Sandra Croll, member of the Board) Congratulations to Pro Coro singers and management team for making it so safe, easy and possible. No detail was overlooked in the planning and execution of the live performance at McDougall church on Saturday. Patrons lined up; distanced at the entrance, masked, with vaccine passports in hand. These were carefully checked by a very pleasant volunteer prior to entrance; answering questions we had and then as each person (or pair) entered, they were greeted by another masked staff to assign our desired seating in every other pew, again well distanced.

It is difficult to find the right words to express the joy and satisfaction of being there, of being part of the choral experience, and remembering the many other concerts we have attended.
