Dear Friends and Supporters of Pro Coro Canada, After two years of quiet and slow Decembers, this year’s concert schedule, - Pro Coro’s own and those of many, many other choral, school or church performances, - has catapulted us right to the doorstep of the Christmas weekend. For the 10th year in a row, our four singers performed the Little Match Girl Passion in Camrose and in Edmonton. This annual tradition has a loyal following, and the weather this past weekend created the bleak and cold atmosphere appropriate for this heartbreaking story. I hope you will join us on the last evening of 2022! Our New Year’s Eve program will carry you through celebration and meditation, from joyful journeying to introspective interpretation of classics like Biebl’s Ave Maria, Willan’s Three Kings and Thompson’s Ye Shall Have a Song. As in every NYE concert with Pro Coro Canada, we’ll start our retrospective with Santiago from Path of Miracles. And of course, you’ll be invited to join us in Auld Lang Syne, and for a glass of bubbles and a toast to the Old and the New Year! Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2023.
