Pro Coro is going on tour! Albeit a short one, but still, it has been over two years since the choir has performed outside Edmonton and we’re all very excited get in the car this Friday and leave the city for a couple performances. On Friday we will be performing in Stony Plain with guests Vocal Collective under Mona Holton and Daryl Weisenburger. We met Vocal Collective for the first time in Banff at the Choral Art workshop.
Then, on Saturday, we are in Camrose where we are collaborating with the Chamber Choir at Augustana and their director Dr. John Wiebe. Volunteering is Empathy in Action It is National Volunteer Week in Canada, and I would like to acknowledge and thank all the individuals who are supporting the core programming activities and the governance of Pro Coro Canada. We rely heavily on the goodwill and time commitment of you - for our Casinos, for front-of-house at concerts, for the board of directors, for setting up the stage, or for helping out in the administration - THANK YOU!
