Dear friends and supporters of Pro Coro Canada What a great event we had on Saturday evening, celebrating 40 years of Pro Coro Canada! Robert Barrett (chair of the Board) The performances you heard and saw were exclusively from our Choral Art program at the Banff Centre, which showed our work with emerging artists and connected us also with the Swedish roots of Pro Coro 40 years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing from these great musicians and leaders and learning more about the history of this pioneering choral organization. It was an opportune moment, now during the pandemic, to be reminded of and inspired by the passion and vision of the ones who shaped Pro Coro Canada in the 1980s. Thank you also for participating in our Silent Auction, and you can read more about the success below. As we are now once more changing course with our choral productions, adjusting to recent guidelines and restrictions by our provincial health organization, I must inform you that unfortunately we do not know when our next live-streamed performances will take place. For the time being, you will see our concerts listed on our website and on social media, and we will provide you with updates on possible new dates, time and content as soon as we can. In the same spirit, we have decided to move our LAUDI concert to next season, when we hopefully can celebrate this marvelous music with you in person.
