October 5, 2021 Dear Friends and Supporters of Pro Coro Canada, Autumn has arrived here in Alberta, well, - Autumn is almost over! I hope you had the opportunity to take in some of these glorious Fall days. The sun and the vibrancy of the colours are a good balm for the soul during these challenging days of pandemic life. Of course, we invite you to spend some time listening to Pro Coro Canada, and hope it will bring some entertaining distraction. We are nevertheless planning for our Casino Fundraiser* on October 14 and 15 at the Starlight Casino at West Edmonton Mall. I worked a Casino there just about a month ago, and felt comfortable with measures in place. The Casino has now also implemented the Restrictions Exemption Program, which provides an added layer of safety, BUT we need more volunteers! As we’re getting ready for a long weekend here in Canada, just a brief update that our office is closed from October 8, 4PM to October 12, 10AM. Please also note that due to the pandemic, Pro Coro’s staff is currently working remotely, and in-person meetings at our downtown office are not possible for the time being.
