Dear Friends and Supporters of Pro Coro Canada,

And finally, it looks like we’ll have a White Christmas here in Edmonton! The choir started with rehearsals yesterday and there is a familiar feeling of comfort when we arrive, see our colleagues and get into our sound. That sense of arrival is always more present after having braved the snow-covered roads!

November is also a time when I am reminded of my first time directing Pro Coro Canada as part of my interview and audition process. I can recall the first rehearsal in the Upper Hall of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, starting off right away with Die Erste Elegie by Rautavaara, putting the tenors through their paces (with very high notes).

I introduced many new intriguing compositions to Pro Coro Canada and their audiences, and we continue our journey on the cutting edge of choral music in two weeks at our Moonshot III concert. I hope to see you at the event, in-person or on tv.procoro.ca

Join us on Sunday, November 28 at 3PM in the Westbury Theatre (located in the ATB Financial Arts Barns Building, 10330 84 Ave NW) or online (ProCoroTV).

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of negative Covid-19 test results within 48 hours of attendance is required to attend a Pro Coro Canada event in person. The only valid proof of vaccination accepted is the Alberta Vaccine Record QR Code.
