Thank you to everyone who joined Pro Coro Canada at our most recent concert, Missae IX. It was a wonderful evening celebrating culture and connection as we near the end of our current season. As you may know, our annual Missae series features choral music based on old and new interpretations of the Latin Mass. The music for Missae IX was carefully selected to highlight the beauty and solemnity of the Latin text. To celebrate Asian Heritage Month, we also took this opportunity to showcase the works of Asian composers, celebrating their unique musical perspectives and talents. Furthermore, we were honoured to be joined by guest conductor Jonathan Velasco from the Philippines, who shared his expertise and passion for choral music with the choir, the audience, and the community.
