Dear Friends and Supporters of Pro Coro Canada

Yesterday the choir met for the first time in the 21.22 season. It was great to see everyone in person, and to hear and feel the sound of the ensemble making music together. Our opening concert Laudi is less than two weeks away.

Pro Coro Canada is committed to providing a safe and comfortable concert experience for everyone attending an event in person, including our patrons, our volunteers, our staff and our singers.

In order to assist with our commitment, we are implementing protocols that address safety and health. These protocols came into effect yesterday, September 13, with the first rehearsal of the choir with fully vaccinated singers and staff.

We believe that it is essential to provide a safe environment for our patrons, musicians, and staff, as well as to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Therefore, proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test result from an approved testing provider taken within 48 hours of attendance is required to attend a Pro Coro Canada event in person, effective September 20, 2021. Pro Coro Canada requires all staff, volunteers, contractors and singers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Pro Coro Canada is looking for volunteers to join our Casino Fundraiser on October 14 and 15. We will be at the Starlight Casino in West Edmonton Mall, and if you have volunteered at a Casino event before, you know that it is a great opportunity to connect with the community, to talk about this or that, spend some time reading and now and then hold thousands of dollars in your hands! Be part of the leadership of the nationally recognized, award-winning professional choir Pro Coro Canada!

Do you have professional expertise in Accounting, the Culture sector, the Virtual Performance Space or Risk Management? Are you committed to investing time and energy in governing a not-for-profit organization, and enjoy an open discourse to further a national music treasure?

Pro Coro Canada is looking for community-minded leaders to join its Board of Directors. The entire Board meets six to eight times per year, and board committees convene as necessary between board meetings. A board orientation session is held after the Annual General Meeting in late Fall.
