Jessica Wagner is a versatile singer with a diverse repertoire and broad performance interests. She has studied at baroque academies and contemporary music labs in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Jessica has performed extensively as a soloist with choirs, orchestras, and ensembles.

She is especially passionate about collaborating with composers on new music and has performed many Canadian and world premieres. Based in Edmonton, she regularly sings with ensembles such as Pro Coro Canada, the St. Joseph’s Basilica Schola Cantorum, and serves as a section leader for A Joyful Noise Choir.

In addition to performing, Jessica is devoted to her role as a voice teacher, clinician and adjudicator.

Meet our Emerging Artist singers, Brianna and Alan! We’re excited to perform with these talented young singers this Saturday, and we’re proud to support them on their professional journey in the choral music industry.

Brianna Strickland is an Edmonton-based soprano and music instructor. She currently serves as a soprano section leader for Korora Choirs and sings with the TIME organization. She holds a B.Mus/B.Ed from the University of Alberta and has previously sung with the University of Alberta Madrigal Singers, the 2019/2023 Alberta Youth Choir, and the 2022 Alberta Treble Choir.

Alan Han is a registered nurse at the University of Alberta Hospital who recently renewed his passion for choral music. He previously sang with the Edmonton Catholic School Division All-City choir, and currently sings with Korora Choirs as a Bass.
