We are just 10 days away from our annual Good Friday concert. As we prepare for this reflective performance, we will be joined by another premier local choral ensemble, i Coristi.

With emerging artists Josiah Maxfield and Erin Moore, and pianists Leanne Regehr and Roger Admiral, the evening promises to be a journey through the themes of human suffering and hope.

The thoughtfully curated program offers a meaningful experience, pairing Brahms’ timeless German Requiem with innovative contemporary works.

Simon enjoyed the flexibility of home education, and regularly made the long drive to Edmonton to participate in theatre, music lessons, and eventually the Edmonton Youth Choir. While earning his BA at Thomas Aquinas College in California, Simon performed with multiple choirs and theatre groups, co-founding and directing a student initiative choir, Chrysostomos. He began singing Bass with Pro Coro Canada when he returned to Edmonton in 2009 to pursue his BEd. Today, Simon is the Principal of Home Education for Wisdom Home Schooling, and has joined his parents in operating Lone Spruce Farm, a clean beef and certified organic grain farm. Simon and his wife Nicole have carried on the tradition of prioritizing music, and their four homeschooled 6th generation farm kids currently sing with the Edmonton Youth and Edmonton Children's Choir.
