In Between the Years

Dear Friends and Supporters of Pro Coro Canada,

Happy Holidays! From Pro Coro Canada we wish you, your families, and friends good health and fortune for 2022.

I hope this message finds you well and somewhere warm, here in Alberta it is very cold.

I am disappointed that I can’t meet with the choir today in preparation for our New Year’s Eve concert. In my view, it is not safe for staff, singers and patrons to attend rehearsals and concerts with the current situation and the highly-transmissible version of the virus. So I made the decision last week to cancel the concert. I am hopeful that 2022 will bring a reprieve and that we can present our concert We Breathe In Stars at the end of January.

New Year’s Eve with Pro Coro Canada

As we brace for the fifth wave of Covid with the new and highly transmissible Omicron variant, unfortunately we have had to make the decision to cancel our New Year’s Eve performance on December 31.

Our annual New Year’s Eve concert is always a joy perform, and we were excited to share this experience with you once again. However, with the uncertainty around the impact of this new variant, and the potential risk to our audience, singers and staff, the safest thing to do right now is to once again be patient and avoid gathering together.

Holiday Office Closure

The Pro Coro Canada office will be closed on the following dates during the 2021-22 holiday season. Starting January 4th, we will return to our regular hours (Monday to Friday, 10:30am - 3:30pm).
