Welcome to Pro Coro Canada's Diversity Census

Your voice matters—in our choir and in our data.
At Pro Coro Canada, we believe that artistic excellence is fueled by the diverse experiences, backgrounds, and identities of our community. To truly serve you and to build a space that is safe, accessible, and reflective of the world we live in, we need to understand who is in the room with us.

We are asking you to share your story through this voluntary self-identification form. By participating, you help us identify barriers, advocate for funding, and measure our progress toward inclusion. Whether you are a singer, emerging artist, board member, staff, or audience member, you are a vital part of this picture.

Privacy & Confidentiality Notice

Is this anonymous?
This survey is confidential. Your individual responses are accessible only by our Senior Staff. We report data only in aggregate (e.g., "30% of our organization identifies as..."). To protect your privacy, we will never report demographic data for any specific subgroup (e.g., "Board Members") if there are fewer than 5 respondents in that group.

Where do these questions come from?
To ensure our data is rigorous and comparable to national standards, we have adopted the Modernized Government of Canada Self-Identification Data Standard. These are the same questions used by federal agencies to measure equity in the Canadian workforce.

Reference: You can view the official federal standard here: Canada Research Chairs Self-ID Form.
